NEWS ALERT: NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION FOR ATHLETE AGENTS

The Colorado Division of Registrations will be hosting a special information session on Saturday, Nov. 8, for athlete agents and several other professions affected by new or changed state laws.

Specific impacts in your profession include:

Athlete agents - those recruiting or representing student athletes – must hold a certificate of registration by Jan. 1, 2009.

This free session is an opportunity to learn and ask questions of division leaders about new registration rules and educational requirements and important deadlines.

WHEN: Saturday, November 8, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

· There is no cost to attend.

· Break-out sessions will occur for anyone needing information on the affected professions.
